Logistics and sea transport provider 2GO, part of the Sy group, has resumed operations following disruptions caused by tropical cyclones in late October and November. The company restored its services to ensure the smooth movement of goods and passengers nationwide.
After receiving clearance from the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) to reopen shipping routes, 2GO quickly resumed transporting essential goods. The company moved 3,000 TEUs (twenty-foot equivalent units) of cargo, stabilizing supply chains and helping businesses stay operational.
“We understand the crucial role logistics plays in the success of businesses and the well-being of communities,” said Sharon Musngi-Ngo, Business Unit Head of 2GO Sea Solutions. “At 2GO, we remain committed to being a reliable partner for the Filipino people, delivering excellence, especially during challenging times.”
2GO’s extensive operations are critical in supporting national supply chains. The company ships 5,000 TEUs of goods weekly, offering customized logistics solutions to meet evolving business needs.
Beyond freight, 2GO operates ROPAX (roll-on/roll-off passenger) services across 19 key ports. Its travel service accommodates an average of 23,000 passengers weekly, connecting people and businesses nationwide.
“As we connect people and businesses across the Philippines, we also help entrepreneurs grow by supporting their journeys—whether they’re moving goods or tapping into new markets,” said Francis Chua, Business Unit Head of 2GO Travel.
2GO emphasized its dedication to being more than just a logistics provider, positioning itself as a partner in progress and national growth.
“Together, we strive to build a brighter, more connected future for the Philippines,” Musngi-Ngo concluded.
