Work-from-home arrangements, online schooling, and digital business processes are all part of the necessary adaptations to cope with the new normal. A reliable and consistent internet connection is essential to be able to accomplish these daily operations efficiently.
Globe, one of the nation’s telco giants, committed to the continued delivery of its key services and support to ensure the quality of life of its customers during these trying times.
“Kahit may pandemya, ang aming mga Ka-Globe employees ay hindi titigil sa pagbibigay ng maayos na koneksyon para sa lahat ng mga Pilipino,” (“Even in the face of a pandemic, our Globe employees will continue to provide stable connections for all Filipinos,”) said Issa Guevarra-Cabreira, Globe’s Deputy Chief Commercial Officer.
Within the context of yet another set of localized lockdowns recently being implemented to mitigate the sudden surge of Covid cases, this has become extremely relevant for Globe customers.
“The surge in cases is getting alarming. And what we said last year still holds true. We stand with our customers. Now more than ever our customers are depending on our services to keep themselves afloat – at work, for learning, or for business,” Guevarra-Cabreira added.
Globe is also set on rolling out 1 million fiber lines within the year, on top of its other projects, as part of its aggressive expansion plans. All in hopes of improving the internet connection speed throughout the country.
