Households can anticipate lower expenditures for liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) this April, as industry players announce price reductions. Following a price increase in March, Petron Corp. has taken the lead in cutting LPG prices, reflecting adjustments in the global market.

While Petron has made its price rollback public, other LPG suppliers are expected to follow suit, offering some financial relief to consumers. In March, LPG cylinder prices in Metro Manila fluctuated between P830.00 and P1,068, according to the Department of Energy (DOE). The recent price cut provides a welcome respite for consumers, aligning with global LPG market trends.
