The National Electrification Administration (NEA) reported that Severe Tropical Storm Kristine has inflicted an estimated ₱70.25 million in damage on the infrastructure of 24 electric cooperatives. The storm disrupted power services and led to states of calamity in Calabarzon, Bicol, and Eastern Visayas.

NEA Administrator Antonio Mariano Almeda stated that the affected cooperatives, including ALECO in Albay, BATELEC I in Batangas, CASURECO II and III in Camarines Sur, and PANELCO I in Pangasinan, are working diligently to restore power. The ports in Allen and Matnog, Sorsogon, have also been re-energized to aid in the transport of essential goods and services.
