Centralized Ride-Hailing and Taxi Hub Opens at NAIA Terminal 3

The New NAIA Infra Corp. (NNIC) officially launched a centralized hub for ride-hailing services and metered taxis at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 on Sunday, December 8, 2024.

Features of the Hub

Located at the multi-level parking building, the hub includes:

• 401 parking slots
• 18 loading bays
• Dedicated lanes for TNVS (Transport Network Vehicle Service)
• Multiple entry and exit points for efficient traffic flow

The hub, operational ahead of the busy Christmas travel season, aims to streamline transportation and improve passenger convenience.

“With a centralized hub and diverse transportation options, we are bringing more order and efficiency to the airport. This is part of our commitment to making travel smoother and stress-free for every passenger,” said NNIC General Manager Lito Alvarez.

Key Partners and Commitments

Three major TNVS operators welcomed the development, pledging their support:

• Grab Philippines will deploy dedicated airport pickup drivers.
• JoyRide will introduce its Super Taxi fleet at the hub starting Tuesday, December 10.
• Angkas plans to provide seamless and reliable transport through its Angcars service.

Enhanced Passenger Experience

NNIC noted that NAIA recently handled its highest passenger volume in four years during the Undas season, accommodating over 932,000 passengers and achieving an 87.99% on-time performance (OTP) for arriving flights.

The new hub is part of NNIC’s efforts to enhance NAIA’s overall functionality since taking over operations in September 2024 under a P170.6-billion concession agreement with the Department of Transportation.
