Gasoline Prices to Rise, Diesel and Kerosene to Roll Back Next Week

Motorists can expect a gasoline price increase next week, while diesel and kerosene prices are set for a rollback, according to the Department of Energy (DOE).

Projected Fuel Price Adjustments (Feb. 4, 2025)

Based on international trading data over the past four days, DOE Oil Industry Management Bureau assistant director Rodela Romero estimates the following adjustments:

🔺 Gasoline: Increase of ₱0.40 to ₱0.70 per liter
🔻 Diesel: Decrease of ₱1.30 to ₱1.60 per liter
🔻 Kerosene: Decrease of ₱0.85 to ₱1.00 per liter

Fuel companies are expected to announce official price adjustments on Monday, which will take effect on Tuesday, February 4.
