The SM Group is set to expand its Alfamart minimart network by 200 new stores across Luzon this 2025, capitalizing on strong consumer demand.
By the end of 2024, Alfamart had already reached 2,100 stores, operating in 11 provinces and 15 Metro Manila cities.
According to Alfamart Philippines COO Harvey Ong, the expansion focuses on underserved communities, ensuring better access to essential goods.
Aside from expansion, Alfamart is also opening spaces within its stores to support micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), allowing local entrepreneurs to grow alongside the brand.
The SM Group remains committed to strengthening community-based retail while enhancing shopping convenience.
