The Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) experienced a delayed opening on Monday, March 24, due to a system connectivity issue, pushing back the day’s trading schedule by over an hour.
In an advisory, the PSE said that the pre-open no-cancel period began at 11:05 a.m., followed by the official market opening at 11:10 a.m. The rest of the trading day will continue as scheduled.
The exchange did not disclose specific details about the system issue but confirmed it was being resolved.
Under normal operations, the PSE’s pre-open begins at 9:00 a.m., with the no-cancel period at 9:15 a.m., and the market officially opening at 9:30 a.m.
