Fiber broadband provider Converge ICT Solutions Inc. reported a 9.6 percent increase in net income in 2025, showing resilience despite a slowdown affecting much of the telecommunications industry.
The company said its profit reached around ₱11.9 billion, supported by strong demand for broadband services from both households and businesses. Revenue also grew as the firm continued expanding its fiber network and attracting new subscribers across the country.
Converge recorded ₱44.8 billion in total revenue for 2025, a 10.2 percent increase compared to the previous year. The company’s residential segment remained the main contributor, while enterprise services—serving businesses and wholesale clients—posted faster growth.
The company added more than 428,000 new fiber subscribers during the year, bringing its total residential subscriber base close to three million. This continued expansion helped offset challenges facing the broader telecom sector.
Company officials said ongoing investments in infrastructure and network upgrades are expected to sustain growth. Converge plans to continue expanding its fiber coverage, particularly in underserved areas in the Visayas and Mindanao.
Looking ahead, the firm projects revenue to grow by 8 to 10 percent in 2026 as demand for high-speed internet continues to rise and digital connectivity becomes increasingly essential for households and businesses.
