Dive Into The SandBox: Seb Borget’s AMA Session in Partnership with BlockChainSpace

BlockchainSpace has recently partnered with The SandBox as it plans to host an “ask me anything” (AMA) session with Sebastian Borget, co-founder of The SandBox, on February 18. The two companies have already formed a deep collaboration in the past as Blockchain Space connected 2,600 guilds and 680,000 players of its players to SandBox’s virtual world late last year. This previous partnership served to highlight the increasing importance of scaling communities for NFT games, as the developments surrounding the metaverse continue to push forward.

Earlier in 2021, the two companies also worked on hosting a number of voxel NFT contests for artists while creating the first SandBox Metaverse dedicated to the Philippines dubbed “PINASining: Discover the Philippines.” This project serves as a platform for Filipino creators to showcase, sell, and trade their generated content freely.

BlockchainSpace’s primary goal is to become the guild hub of the metaverse that enables play-to-earn guilds to scale effectively within the growing space. The company empowers gaming communities while managing scholarship programs that allow users to understand and enter into the metaverse.

Moreover, BlockchainSpace identifies economic opportunities in games and connects guilds with gamers, game titles, and investors. It hopes to equip the next generation of play-to-earn gamers and guild owners with essential, scalable infrastructure, digital tools, financing solutions, and networking opportunities that will turn them into successful entrepreneurs within the scene of emerging technologies.

The SandBox, on the other hand, is a decentralized, community-driven gaming ecosystem where creators can build, own, and monetize their gaming experiences using non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and their utility token $SAND. The company also offers its own SandBox Academy, which uses its platform to educate and provide jobs to aspiring and talented game designers as well as voxel artists in light of the prolonged global pandemic.
