AirAsia Offers 1000 Free Domestic Flights for Medical Frontliners for Independence Day

On Friday, June 12, AirAsia made the announcement that it would be offering 1000 free domestic flights to medical frontliners in honor of Independence Day.

In a statement, AirAsia said “we are grateful to the Philippines’ gallant medical frontliners. AirAsia will be providing 1,000 free domestic flights this Independence Day to medical practitioners and healthcare providers who are at the forefront of the country’s fight against COVID-19.”

The flights for medical practitioners and hospital healthcare providers are available from June 16 to July 16 for travel on June 23 to August 23, the airline said in an advisory post. Doctors, medical technologists, pharmacists, radiology technologists, hospital orderlies or assistants, and nurses can avail of these flights by presenting a valid hospital ID, Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) license, among other documents.
