AirAsia Philippines announced a significant rise in bookings for the upcoming All Saints’ and All Souls’ Day holiday period, with over 50,000 seats sold for travel between October 30 and November 3. The airline anticipates even higher numbers in the coming days as travelers plan ahead to secure savings and avoid last-minute travel stress.
Top destinations for the holiday include popular local spots like Boracay, Cebu, and Bohol, alongside international locations such as Taipei, Incheon, and Bangkok. Steve Dailisan, head of Communications and Public Affairs at AirAsia Philippines, noted that while many traditionally observe the holiday by honoring loved ones, others are using it as an opportunity for leisure travel.
To accommodate the increased demand, AirAsia has bolstered its staff at NAIA Terminals 2 and 3, preparing for the influx of passengers traveling over the holiday period.
