ATI and Smart’s Digital Farmers Program Wins at 18th Philippine Quill Awards

The Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) and Smart Communications, Inc.’s Digital Farmers Program was recognized at the 18th Philippine Quill Awards on March 25th via virtual ceremony. It received an Excellence Award in the Corporate Social Responsibility category under Communication Management.

The program aims to empower farmers by helping develop their mobile and internet literacy and increase interest in agriculture among the youth.

Since its launch in 2019, the program has conducted 46 batches of its introductory course, DFP101, which trains over a thousand farmers and youth on basic digital tools such as smartphone, the internet, and social media.

The Philippine Quill is considered to be the country’s most prestigious awards program in the field of business communication and have been operating for nearly two decades.
