The Aurora Pacific Economic Zone (APECO) has successfully completed over ₱80 million worth of vital infrastructure inside its 12,743-hectare hub, marking a significant step in its economic development.
The newly inaugurated projects include:
✅ A ₱16.8-million health center
✅ A ₱4.9-million materials recovery facility
✅ Phase 1 of the ₱59.81-million central water supply system
APECO President and CEO Gil Taway IV emphasized that a reliable water supply is crucial for business operations within the zone, positioning APECO as a more attractive investment destination.
“These new projects not only support businesses within APECO but also enhance its overall appeal for future investors,” Taway stated.
Aurora Lone District Representative Rommel Angara praised the new facilities, particularly the health center, for benefiting both investors and the local community.
“Providing accessible healthcare enhances workforce well-being and strengthens APECO’s potential as a key economic zone,” Angara said.
APECO is also rebidding 10 major projects worth ₱796 million, which had been delayed for up to seven years due to previous contractor issues.
With these new developments, APECO aims to attract more investors and accelerate industrial growth in Aurora.
