Axie Infinity Influencer to Offer Masterclasses on Nas Academy Philippines

Filipino crypto millionaire, Kookoo Crypto, has partnered with an online learning platform to help teach Filipinos how to earn from NFT-based games. Kookoo Crypto was a college dropout and served as a waiter before becoming a driver for the popular transportation app Uber. However, over the past year, he found massive success through the NFT game Axie Infinity. Additionally, he works as a content creator on Youtube with his channel, Kookoo Crypto TV, amassing over 160,000 subscribers.

KC first learned of the game in an article h was then encouraged to download and study it as he saw this as an amazing opportunity. He later learned that players could breed and increase the rank of his “Axies”, the in-game characters, and later sell them to other players for about $50 – $100 each.

“My story sounds too good to be true, but I want to share to fellow Pinoys how I was able to afford my dream house and how I retired my parents while at home in my sando through playing a video game that I love,” Kookoo Crypto said.

Recently, Kookoo Crypto partnered with Nas Academy Philippines to hold a masterclass for NFT gaming enthusiasts. The class will allow people to learn from KC as he shares his experiences, strategies, and tips on how to earn through Axie Infinity.

The class will be offered on the online learning platform and is titled “Become an Axie Infinity Trainer.” Included in the classes are on-demand Zoom sessions, the basics of Axie Infinity, how play-to-earn games work, complex strategy, and other pro tips. Additionally, KC will conduct Q&As to ensure his students are up-to-date with the games’ latest releases.

Head of Nas Academy Philippines, Jacqueline Maye Lim, has said that the class is just one of the many crypto learning courses offered by the platform. Crypto experts such as Ben Yu will also teach full video courses for crypto beginners, NFT introductory classes, and eventually a Web3 development program.

Lim cites CoinDeck when saying that there was around $20 billion in additional investments from businesses due to crypto.

“As businesses invest more in crypto, Filipinos’ interest in the crypto ecosystem has increased exponentially especially with the rise of play-to-earn games like Axie Infinity making it more accessible. Like any potentially lucrative investment, earning from crypto comes with risks but we see earning and job opportunities being created,” Lim said.
