Ayala Group to Buy 450,000 Vaccine Doses and Give Half to Government

Fernando Zobel De Ayala, Ayala Corp President and COO, said the Ayala Group will buy 450,000 COVID-19 vaccine shots from British firm AstraZeneca, half of which will go to the government.

Fernando added “The total donation that we will be giving to the government will be about ₱120 million,”

“Government, in turn, has requested that 50% be given to individuals that the government selects, and 50% will be given back to the private sector so we can also provide to people who need it,”
