Bitcoin Reaches $37,000 For the First Time

Bitcoin as of January 7, 2021 has reached a trading price of $37,800 for the first time.
PayPal announced in October, 2020 it would enable account holders to use cryptocurrency.
Analysts at JPMorgan Chase compared Bitcoin to gold, saying “Bitcoin could compete more intensely with gold as an ‘alternative’ currency over the coming years given that millennials will become over time a more important component of investors’ universe,”
