Bitcoin Revolution and How NOT To Throw Away Your Money

This Sunday, I enjoin all of our readers to not fall for a particular scam that has been making the usual rounds on the internet, after a period of inactivity. Ever heard of Bitcoin Revolution? If you haven’t, great! Move on with your life, and consider this fair warning. If you have, and have considered their “lucrative promise”, read on.

But is it legitimate? No. No it is not. Pro tip, if something reads like a scam, it is probably a scam. Gasp! Big banks are TERRIFIED? My favorite part about this is how they pick a local prominent businessman or politician (in this case, Manny Villar) and use him as the frontperson for this latest round of media blasts.  In case you were wondering, this is 100% fake news, and has been publicly denied by Mr. Villar.

This is typical of these sorts of scams, and they use big names to give themselves some sense of legitimacy.

The sad news is, there really aren’t any secrets to making money. The path to wealth is clear and full of hardships that need to be overcome. There are no secret windfalls waiting online for you, YES YOU, dear reader! The difficult aspect about all of this is the required digital deposit you need to make prior to “making tons of easy cash”. You’ll likely never see your deposit again (a substantial Php 15,000) despite whatever the app tells you. This is common for cryptocurrency scams, as they ride on the hype of what crypto is, and the general lack of knowledge amongst laypeople.
