Bloomberry Posts 26% Net Income Growth in Q1, Driven by Gaming Surge at Solaire

Bloomberry Resorts Corporation, the company behind Solaire Resort and Jeju Sun Hotel & Casino, reported a strong start to 2025 with a 26% rise in net income during the first quarter. Profits reached ₱3.3 billion, up from ₱2.6 billion in the same period last year.

However, when excluding a one-time non-cash gain of ₱2.9 billion, net income would have dropped 83% to ₱445.8 million.

Gross gaming revenue (GGR) climbed 14% to ₱16.8 billion, fueled largely by strong performance in Metro Manila, where revenue from mass tables and electronic gaming machines jumped by 29%.

A big part of this growth came from the new Solaire Resort North, which contributed ₱4.6 billion in gaming revenue and ₱913.7 million in non-gaming income. Meanwhile, the original Solaire Resort in Entertainment City brought in ₱12.1 billion, and the Jeju Sun Resort in South Korea posted ₱3.7 million.

“We’re pushing the boundaries of both our resorts and our digital operations,” said Bloomberry Chairman and CEO Enrique Razon Jr., hinting at the launch of a new online platform in the coming weeks.
