BSP Governor Eli Remolona Tops List of Highest-Paid Gov’t Officials in 2024 with Nearly ₱48M

Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) Governor Eli Remolona Jr. has once again emerged as the highest-paid government official in the Philippines for 2024, earning a total of ₱47,968,744.27 in salaries and allowances, according to the Commission on Audit’s latest Report on Salaries and Allowances (ROSA).

BSP officials dominated the top 10 highest-paid list:

2. Chuchi Fonacier – ₱30.39M

3. Francisco Dakila Jr. – ₱28.82M

4. Elmore Capule – ₱26.54M

5. Romeo Bernardo – ₱26.03M

6. Edna Villa – ₱25.82M

7. Johnny Ravalo – ₱25.37M

8. Rosalia De Leon – ₱25.28M

9. Eduardo Bobier – ₱23.75M

10. Benjamin Diokno – ₱23.52M

Other top earners included Solicitor General Menardo Guevarra (₱23.01M), several Supreme Court justices, and key officials from PAGCOR and the Development Bank of the Philippines.

COA noted that the figures reflect the total compensation including salaries, allowances, and other emoluments received by each official throughout 2024.
