Cebu Pacific Ends 2024 with 91-Aircraft Fleet

New A321neo Aircraft Delivery

The latest addition, an A321neo aircraft, landed in Manila on December 24. This 236-seater jet signifies Cebu Pacific’s push to strengthen operational capacity and expand its network.

“The arrival of this new aircraft reinforces our readiness to meet rising travel demand and our commitment to enhancing connectivity for our passengers in 2025 and beyond,” said Xander Lao, Cebu Pacific president and chief commercial officer.

The Airbus NEO (New Engine Option) models are designed for:

  • Fuel Efficiency: Consuming 15% less fuel per flight.
  • Environmental Benefits: Reduced carbon emissions and noise.

Largest Aircraft Acquisition in Philippine History

In October, Cebu Pacific signed a historic purchase agreement with Airbus and Pratt & Whitney for up to 152 A321neo aircraft, valued at $24 billion (₱1.4 trillion). The deal is the largest in Philippine aviation history.

Cebu Pacific’s Current Fleet Composition

  • Airbus 330s: 10
  • Airbus 320s: 40
  • Airbus 321s: 26
  • ATR Turboprops: 15

As Cebu Pacific prepares for increased travel demand in 2025, its growing fleet underscores its focus on sustainability and passenger connectivity.
