Cashless Toll Collection Returns on PH Expressways Starting March 15—TRB

The Toll Regulatory Board (TRB) has announced the reimplementation of mandatory cashless toll collection across all Philippine expressways beginning March 15, 2025.

Major Toll Operators Back the Move

Key toll operators—including San Miguel Infrastructure, Metro Pacific Tollways Corp. (MPTC), MCX Tollway Inc., BCDA, and PRA—have expressed full support for the initiative.

🚗 Why Go Cashless?
✔️ Reduces traffic congestion at toll plazas
✔️ Improves safety and convenience for motorists
✔️ Enhances expressway operations for smoother travel

97% of Motorists Already Use RFID

📌 TRB reports that 97% of expressway users have RFID stickers for Electronic Toll Collection (ETC).
📌 Only 3% still pay in cash—they are encouraged to switch to RFID before the deadline.

How to Get an RFID Sticker

Free installation (No maintaining balance required)
Available at customer service centers & kiosks
Reloading options: Banks, e-wallets, mobile apps

Motorists are advised to update their contact details to receive account notifications and monthly statements.
