Budget airline Cebu Pacific is set to introduce a new flight route from Manila to Kaohsiung City in southern Taiwan, featuring a promotional seat sale with one-way base fares starting at just P1.
In an announcement on Thursday, Cebu Pacific detailed that the Manila-Kaohsiung flights will be available three times a week — on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays — beginning August 16, 2024.
Travelers can book the P1 one-way base fare tickets for the Manila-Kaohsiung route from May 30 to June 13, 2024, for travel between August 16 and October 25, 2024.
Kaohsiung will be Cebu Pacific’s second destination in Taiwan, adding to its existing twice-daily flights to Taipei, Taiwan’s capital and economic hub.
“We are thrilled to launch direct flights to the vibrant city of Kaohsiung,” said Xander Lao, Cebu Pacific’s president and chief commercial officer. “With increasing interest in exploring new destinations, we hope this new route will inspire more travelers to visit or add another stop to their itinerary.”
Cebu Pacific currently services 35 domestic and 25 international destinations across Asia, Australia, and the Middle East.
