Cebu Pacific, a leading budget airline, has recently commenced its first direct flight service between Manila and Da Nang, Vietnam, marking a significant expansion in its flight operations, especially in the wake of the air travel industry’s post-pandemic resurgence. This new service was inaugurated on December 7, 2023.
The Manila-Da Nang route is scheduled to operate three times a week, specifically on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Departure from Manila is set for 7:25 p.m. (Philippine time), with an arrival in Da Nang at 9:30 p.m. (Vietnam time). Conversely, the return journey from Da Nang departs at 10:30 p.m. (Vietnam time) and arrives in Manila at 2:25 a.m. (Philippine time).
Prior to this direct service, passengers traveling to Da Nang from Manila had to endure a minimum of 10 hours of travel time, including a connecting flight from either Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, or another nearby country. With the introduction of this direct route, Cebu Pacific highlights the significant time savings for travelers, reducing the journey to approximately three hours and eliminating the need for additional stops or layovers.
Da Nang, as a destination, is renowned for its luxurious resorts, unique architectural designs, and exquisite cuisine. It also serves as a gateway to three UNESCO World Heritage Sites: The Hue Imperial Citadel, My Son Sanctuary, and the ancient town of Hoi An.
In its ongoing expansion, Cebu Pacific now flies to 35 domestic and 25 international destinations, encompassing Asia, Australia, and the Middle East.
