Cebu Pacific has expanded its international network, officially launching direct flights from Manila to Sapporo, Japan, on Thursday.
The budget carrier now offers three weekly flights between Manila and Sapporo, operating every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
Cebu Pacific is the first and only Philippine airline to offer direct flights to Sapporo, a move that strengthens its position as the largest carrier connecting the Philippines and Japan.
Sapporo is the airline’s fifth destination in Japan, alongside Tokyo (Narita), Osaka, Nagoya, and Fukuoka.
With this new route, Cebu Pacific aims to boost tourism and provide Filipino travelers with greater access to Japan’s northernmost island, Hokkaido, known for its snowy landscapes, hot springs, and unique cuisine.
