CloudSwyft Global Systems, a pioneer global education technology company in the Philippines, announced that it will work with the country’s education sector to push for education computing. The company will use its end-to-end virtual labs’ platform solution to partner with institutions to drive digital transformation in preparation for more hybrid classrooms in a post-COVID world.

The company is considered as the de-facto solution and educational technology partner in the Philippine education sector. CloudSwyft aims to equip local education customers with cost-effective virtual labs solutions, it has partnered with the Department of Education (DepEd), De La Salle University-Dasmarinas, San Beda College, Miriam College, Enderun Colleges, Philippine State College of Aeronautics (PhilSCA), Tarlac State University (TSU), STI Education Group, Technological Institute of the Philippines (TIP), and Southville International School and Colleges (SISC).

Founder Dann Angelo De Guzman has stated:

“With new challenges being faced by the local education sector, especially over the last two years, the transformation of educational institutions in terms of scale, delivery, methodology, and experience is more critical than ever from the past decades – hence we are leading the shift to this new category of educational computing in the industry. Students and teachers alike, having to transition to a remote or hybrid learning modality becomes a necessity. The shift towards more accessible methods of learning is evident. Learners now have more options to complete their programs than just the traditional classroom experience, and the mission of CloudSwyft is to help accelerate that shift through our cloud-based solution.”

“CloudSwyft aims to help education institutions globally in this transformational journey of learning anywhere, anytime, on any device through the use of customized and bespoke proprietary virtual labs technology that we have built. These are tailored to every instructor or educators’ needs and without the limitation of hardware specs, especially when learning any subject that requires a certain set of applications or software tools for practice-based hands-on learning,” Prince Billy Datu (CloudSwyft VP of Sales) added.

According to De Guzman, the partnership entails that the company’s platform automates and digitally enhances the universities’ computer laboratory facility requirements and provides a cloud-based subscription model. The company claims that the solution provides a model that is economical, efficient, and on-demand.

“In an emerging country like the Philippines where infrastructure still needs a lot of work, a higher concentration of students on mobile devices versus using very expensive laptops and desktops are still a relatively new necessity. It enables the users to experience close to what they get to the physical labs they enjoy on campus, which is definitely a game-changer. CloudSwyft helps bridge that hardware and CAPEX gap via our easy-to-use, access-anywhere, cost-effective and scalable virtual labs available 24/7 to the students studying at home,” Dann added.
