Coca-Cola Beverages Philippines Inc. (CCBPI) and Pepsi-Cola Products Philippines Inc. (PCPPI) announced they would vaccinate their employees in the country for free.

CCBPI, which has not let go of any employee during the coronavirus pandemic, said it would provide vaccines for 10,000 associates and their families, allocating ₱2 billion for its employee assistance fund.

Gareth McGeown, CCBPI president and CEO, said “Our People-First commitment means that we are responsible for our employees and their families especially during these most challenging times,”

PCPPI said it joined the “Dose of Hope” initiative to order 20,000 doses of vaccine, half of which will be donated to the government.

Frederick D. Ong, President and Chief Executive Officer, said “Providing free vaccines is essential to a healthy and safe working environment at PCPPI. The inoculation will be voluntary but we highly encourage everyone to be vaccinated. This is to show gratitude to our employees who have all worked hard during the pandemic,”
