DOE Urges EV Charging Station Providers to Submit Annual Reports by February 28

The Department of Energy (DOE) has reminded electric vehicle charging station (EVCS) providers to submit their annual monitoring reports by February 28, 2025 as part of regulatory compliance.

Reporting Requirements

βœ” Accredited EVCS providers – operators, suppliers, and service providers
βœ” Those with private and commercial EV charging stations

βœ” All installed and supplied EVCS must be reported
βœ” Unbundling of charges for DOE-registered stations
βœ” Reports to be submitted online via the Electric Vehicle Industry Management Division

Government Push for EV Expansion

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has directed agencies to:
βœ… Lower costs of EV production, financing, and charging infrastructure
βœ… Convert 10% of government service vehicles to electric
βœ… Reach 2.45 million EVs and 65,000 charging stations by 2028
