Chinese carmaker Dongfeng is strengthening its foothold in the Philippines as it rides the surge of interest in Chinese-made vehicles. Since its entry last year, the brand has introduced a range of electric and hybrid models that have captured the attention of Filipino motorists.

Dongfeng is set to open 12 more dealerships by the end of 2024, adding to its existing network in key areas like Ortigas, Alabang, Pampanga, Marcos Highway, Bacoor, Davao, and Marikina. Recently, the brand inaugurated a dealership in Caloocan City, with plans to establish branches in Tarlac and six other locations.
Dongfeng Deputy CEO Brennan Lim expressed enthusiasm about the brand’s growing presence:
