Emperador Commits P4B for 2025, Doubles Scotch Whisky Capacity

Emperador Inc. has allocated P4 billion for its 2025 capital expenditures, with most of the investment focused on expanding its Scotch whisky operations in Scotland.

President and CEO Winston Co stated that the company is nearing completion of its expansion at the Dalmore distillery in Alness, which will double its production capacity. The investment also supports the growth of Emperador’s whisky maturation complex at its Invergordon distillery, expanding its footprint from 45.4 to 92 hectares. This facility will accommodate an additional 1.5 million casks of aging whisky.

“These investments are aimed at strengthening our capacity to meet increasing global demand for both single malt and blended Scotch whiskies,” said Co in a regulatory disclosure.

Emperador’s portfolio includes well-known brands such as Emperador Brandy, Emperador Light, Andy Player Whisky, Smirnoff Mule, The Dalmore, Whyte & Mackay, and several others in the global spirits market.
