Filipinos are on the Internet and Social Media the Most on Earth

We are Social and Hootsuite reported that Filipinos spend 4 hours and 15 minutes a day on social media, a 22-minute increase from last year, as per their Digital 2021 study.

The global average for social media usage is 2 hours and 25 minutes.

The Philippines was also the global leader in social media use last year.

The report showed that Filipinos spent an average of 10 hours and 56 minutes on the internet a day, 1 hour and 11 minutes longer than last year, also the world leader in internet use.

The global average for internet usage was 6 hours and 54 minutes.
