Fuel Prices Expected to Roll Back Next Week

Manila, Philippines – Good news for motorists! Fuel prices are projected to decrease next week, with potential rollbacks in gasoline, diesel, and kerosene, according to industry estimates.

Expected Adjustments:

Gasoline – No change or a ₱0.30 per liter rollback
🚛 Diesel₱0.20 to ₱0.50 per liter decrease
🛢 Kerosene₱0.10 to ₱0.25 per liter decrease

These price movements are influenced by several global factors:
Saudi Aramco’s price hike for Asian buyers amid rising demand from China and India
OPEC’s lower production levels due to reduced output from Iran and Nigeria
Market reactions to US President Donald Trump’s planned tariffs on Canada, Mexico, and China

Implementation Timeline

Fuel companies typically announce official price adjustments every Monday, which take effect the following Tuesday.

Earlier this week, oil firms increased gasoline prices by ₱0.70 per liter, while diesel and kerosene prices dropped by ₱1.15 and ₱0.90 per liter, respectively.

Motorists can expect final price announcements this coming Monday.
