Gasoline, Diesel, Kerosene Prices Rise Over ₱1/L on June 17, 2025

Motorists should brace for higher fuel costs as petroleum prices are set to rise for another week starting Tuesday, June 17, 2025.

Shell Pilipinas and Seaoil Philippines announced that gasoline and diesel prices will go up by ₱1.80 per liter, while kerosene will increase by ₱1.50 per liter. Cleanfuel will apply the same hike for gasoline and diesel, except for kerosene, which it does not offer.

The adjustments will take effect at:

• 6:00 a.m. – Shell, Seaoil, and others

• 4:01 p.m. – Cleanfuel

This marks the fifth straight week of increases for gasoline, third for diesel, and second for kerosene.

The Department of Energy attributes the hike to positive US-China trade developments, delays in US-Iran nuclear negotiations, and forecasts of rising global oil demand in the long term.

Last week, fuel prices rose by ₱0.60 for gasoline, ₱0.95 for diesel, and ₱0.30 for kerosene.
