GCash Customer Base Grows to 33 Million, Nearly 1/3 of the Philippine Population

GCash announced that it had hit ₱1 trillion in transactions and grew its customer base to 33 million users, surpassing the year’s targets.

GCash has experienced 254% year-on-year growth in transactions in 2020.

GCash said “The service peaked at ₱7.5 billion daily gross transaction value, and more than 6 million transactions a day,”
