Ginebra San Miguel Reports ₱2.1B Q1 Profit, Marks 11% Growth Amid Sustained Sales Momentum

MANILA, Philippines — Ginebra San Miguel Inc. (GSMI), the spirits arm of San Miguel Corporation (SMC), reported an 11% increase in net income for the first quarter of 2025, reaching ₱2.1 billion.

In its regulatory filing, GSMI also noted an 8% rise in consolidated revenues to ₱16.3 billion, and a similar 8% increase in operating income to ₱2.5 billion.

President and CEO Ramon Ang credited the company’s consistent growth over the past 11 years as a sign of its brand strength and business resilience, even through global challenges like the pandemic.

Last year, GSMI recorded a historic net income of ₱7.3 billion, up 3% from 2023, with a record-breaking 50 million cases sold. Annual revenues climbed by 17% to ₱62.5 billion, reinforcing GSMI’s leadership in the local spirits market.

The company’s product lineup includes flagship Ginebra San Miguel Gin, GSM Blue, Antonov Vodka, Primera Light Brandy, Archangel Reserve, and Vino Kulafu, among others.
