Globe Teams Up with Gogolook to Offer Free Anti-Scam App Access for Customers

Globe Telecom has partnered with global TrustTech firm Gogolook—the creator of the anti-scam app Whoscall—to boost customer protection against online threats. The partnership grants Globe customers free access to Whoscall Premium Basic, providing them with advanced tools to guard against scams and fraud.

“With online scams becoming more sophisticated, Globe is stepping up our digital defense,” said Eric Tanbauco, Globe’s Consumer Mobile Business Officer-in-Charge. “Our collaboration with Gogolook ensures users can connect with more confidence and safety.”

Whoscall offers key features including:

• Caller ID: Identifies incoming calls and flags potential scammers

• Web Checker: Scans URLs for security threats before you click

• ID Security: Alerts users if their personal info has been leaked on the dark web

Gogolook Philippines’ country head Mel Migriño emphasized the need for digital safety, stating, “In an always-online world, apps like Whoscall help users stay secure while practicing digital hygiene.”

All active Globe Platinum, Postpaid, and Prepaid customers can redeem their Whoscall Premium Basic subscription through the GlobeOne app using Globe Rewards or Globe Rewards+. SMS notifications will also be sent with activation instructions.
