Grab Philippines announced GrabCar service will resume in Metro Manila as NCR returns to general community quarantine status.
Grab announced their services will be available to the public from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. while its free service for frontliners will continue to operate 24/7.
The transport service company said “Following the government’s announcement placing the entire Metro Manila, Laguna, Bulacan, Cavite, and Rizal under GCQ starting August 19, Grab will be resuming its GrabCar services beginning Aug. 19,”
The Department of Transportation requires that both passengers and drivers wear both a face mask and face shield for all public transport.
Passengers are required to use cashless payments in the form of GrabPay, debit cards, or credit cards.
Drivers reserve the right to refuse service if the passenger(s) do not adhere to proper safety protocol.
