GreenHeat Corporation, a provider of solar power solutions, is targeting P2 billion worth of solar projects in the next 18 months. The company plans to more than double its installed solar rooftop capacity, driven by increasing demand from eco-conscious enterprises and households.
At a press briefing, GreenHeat managing director Glenn Tong announced that the company aims to add 100 megawatts (MW) to its current installed capacity of 40 to 50 MW. GreenHeat is in talks with several clients, including large enterprises in sectors such as data centers, floating solar power, and retail.
Since the COVID-19 pandemic, solar rooftop installations have surged, as businesses and homeowners seek energy independence, cost savings, and sustainable solutions. GreenHeat has completed projects for companies like SM, Landers Superstores, and Wilcon Depot, while its residential arm, GreenDot, has installed systems for households nationwide.
GreenHeat remains committed to contributing to global efforts toward net-zero carbon emissions and enhancing solar PV efficiency.
