GSIS to Raffle Off P1.5M in Cash Prizes for Members and Pensioners

The Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) has announced a holiday raffle with a total of P1.5 million in cash prizes as a gesture of gratitude to its members and pensioners.

GSIS president and general manager Wick Veloso revealed that the GSIS Touch and Win Raffle will take place on December 17, where 300 winners will each receive P5,000.

“This is our way of showing appreciation to our members and pensioners as we approach the holiday season, while encouraging them to embrace the GSIS Touch app,” Veloso said.

How to Join

Participants automatically earn one raffle entry by downloading and registering on the GSIS Touch app. Additional entries can be obtained through app-based transactions such as:

• For Active Members:
  • Two additional entries for loans granted via the GSIS Touch app (e.g., Multipurpose Loan Flex, MPL Lite, or Emergency Loan) since January 2024.
• For Pensioners:
  • Two entries for using the app’s facial recognition feature for Annual Pensioners Information Revalidation (APIR) compliance.
  • Two entries per loan processed through GSIS Touch (e.g., Enhanced Pension Loan or Pensioners Emergency Loan).

Members with loans overdue by more than six months are not eligible.

Prize Distribution

The winners will be selected through an audited electronic system. Cash prizes will be credited directly to winners’ GSIS eCards, and notifications will be sent via registered mobile numbers or email addresses.

GSIS Touch App Milestone

Launched in 2020, the GSIS Touch mobile app now has over 1.5 million users. It offers convenient features, including access to membership and pension records, loan applications, claims tracking, and premium monitoring, with biometric login options for enhanced security.

“This initiative not only rewards our members and pensioners but also promotes digital convenience through the GSIS Touch app,” Veloso added.
