inDrive Expands Driver-Partner Base to Over 20K in Q1 2025, Eyes 40% Growth by Year-End

Ride-hailing platform inDrive has surpassed 20,000 driver-partners in the Philippines as of the first quarter of 2025, marking significant growth since resuming operations last June.

According to Nikolay Olesov, inDrive’s Asia-Pacific head of driver operations, the company has been on a steady upward trajectory following a five-month suspension by the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) for fare matrix violations.

“We continue growing. We already have over 20,000 drivers,” Olesov said during an interview in Quezon City.

inDrive now operates in six Philippine cities: Metro Manila, Bacolod, Baguio, Iloilo, Butuan, and Cagayan de Oro. While the company’s immediate focus remains Metro Manila, Olesov noted that expansion into more areas is part of their long-term plan.

By the end of 2025, inDrive aims to boost its driver base by 30% to 40%.

In a bid to support and reward its drivers, inDrive also announced a new partnership with SEAOIL Philippines for its “Drive Loyalty Program.” This initiative provides driver-partners with fuel discounts, priority cards, and other perks at SEAOIL stations nationwide.

Additionally, the company recognized its Top Platinum Driver for Q1 2025, honoring exceptional service, customer satisfaction, and ride volume.
