This acknowledgment came as he received the Management Person of the Year award from the Management Association of the Philippines (MAP). Tanmantiong emphasized that the unique strength of Jollibee lies in its dedicated team, which shares the company’s values and drives collective success. Under his leadership, JFC has undergone significant globalization and rapid growth, making it one of the fastest-growing restaurant companies worldwide. As of September, JFC operates over 6,700 stores globally, with significant international customer approval in markets like the United Kingdom, Brunei, and Vietnam. Tanmantiong’s management style not only led Jollibee to a quick recovery post-pandemic but also contributed to job creation, inclusivity for small and medium firms, and sustainable practices. He stressed the unifying power of food and the global recognition of Jollibee’s offerings.
