Keeping Life Peachy With Peachsoul Studio

Starting Peachsoul Studio was a childhood dream come true for Nikki Tan. 

As a kid, Nikki loved collecting stickers. This inspired her eventually to create her stickers until one day, she decided to make it happen.

Peachsoul Studio launched in 2020 with original character-designed stickers. Nikki had ambitious plans for it such as releasing new collections every month.

But it wasn’t as easy as she thought. She had to balance time between production and designing, along with juggling the responsibilities of her full-time work.

Nikki realized the challenges of starting from scratch and building a small business all on her own. But even without an art or design background, she was determined to fulfill her dream.

The convenience of remote work and the skillset she acquired from her full-time job allowed her to develop more efficient processes for her sticker shop.

Accepting help from others also taught her how to delegate and focus on working on things only she can do.

Nikki learned that “even if you’re not sure about things at the start, you will figure it out as you go.”

“What made it truly worth it was seeing people say that it [the stickers] were nice and they liked it. When I see people tag me on Instagram stories, it makes me grateful and happy,” she adds.

In 2023, Nikki plans to make other stationery merch including Peachsoul’s character plushies, and turn her passion project into a full-time business.

Nikki’s story is a testament to how hard work makes the dream work and often pays off.
