Inspiro, a local business process outsourcing (BPO) provider, and Microsoft have recently entered into a partnership as part of the latter’s three-year digital transformation program. The outsourcing specialist has been present in the Philippines for 20 years, having established centers in Luzon and Visayas. Locally, it employs 14,000 professionals in its effort to deliver multi-lingual, end-to-end, customer experience (CX) solutions to global brands.

The BPO firm also has operations in 51 locations with 32,000 individuals situated in Asia, North America, Latin America, and Australia to provide overall customer satisfaction. “Our digital roadmap is driven by evolving client requirements, the changing technological landscape, and the need to stay ahead of the competition,” said Inspiro president and CEO Yuji Hamamoto. “We look to Microsoft to fast-track the implementation of our roadmap, keeping our clients and our CX agents at the core of our digital transformation.”

“The BPO industry is a key economic driver for the Philippines, one that has put our nation on the global stage, providing people and businesses all over the world with critical services, and over 1.3 million Filipinos with jobs,” noted Microsoft Philippines CEO Peter Maquera. “Digital transformation and innovation have become absolutely necessary in the post-pandemic world. We are bringing the full stack of our technology to empower Inspiro and every organization in the country to achieve their digital ambitions.”

Through this partnership, it hopes to deploy platform solutions to improve the performance of CX agents. Additionally, it is set to advance the average handling time of agents while also strengthening Inspiro’s competitive positioning. This will likely ramp up the firm’s revenue growth and generate new revenue streams as well. For its part, Microsoft will be providing robotics process automation, data warehouse modernization, and app modernization and security, among other technologies.
