LPG Prices Drop by ₱1 Per Kilo as Petron, Solane Roll Back Rates Effective May 1

Petron and Solane have announced a ₱1.00 per kilogram rollback in the prices of their liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) products, effective Thursday, May 1, 2025.

In their respective advisories, Petron said the price cut took effect at 12:01 a.m., while Solane implemented its rollback starting at 6 a.m. Both reductions are inclusive of VAT.

This latest adjustment follows a minor price rollback last April 1, where Petron and Solane lowered their LPG prices by ₱0.25 and ₱0.27 per kilo, respectively.

The new price drop offers some relief to consumers as household fuel costs remain a regular expense for many Filipino families.
