The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) has accredited 14 new transport network companies (TNCs) to operate in the Philippines, in addition to renewing the licenses of five existing firms.
According to LTFRB Chairman Atty. Teofilo Guadiz III, the agency’s decision to accredit more TNCs and release new transport network vehicle service (TNVS) slots aims to meet the growing demand in the ride-hailing market.
“This move aligns with our mandate to ensure the riding public benefits from advancements in transportation services,” Guadiz stated in a Sunday advisory. “Our commitment is to foster a competitive environment that prioritizes commuter welfare and accessibility.”
The newly accredited TNCs include Angkas Technologies, Aztech Solution International Corp., Get Express Global Corporation, GoCab Corp., Hail Transport Inc., Leggo Information Technology Solutions, Metrophills Transport Association Inc., Para Xpress Technology Services Inc., Peek Up Philippines Corporation, PureRide Corporation, RL Soft Corporation, Taxsee Philippines Inc., Unified Transport Operations League Corp., and UNLA LA Corporation.
Additionally, the LTFRB has renewed the accreditation of Cloud Panda PH Inc., E-Pick Me Up Inc., Grab Philippines, Hirna Mobility Solutions Inc., and Joyride E-Commerce.
Guadiz assured that the LTFRB will closely monitor all accredited TNCs to ensure they comply with regulations and provide high-quality service to the public.
