Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso, Mayor of Manila, announced after signing Executive Order (EO) No. 37 that Manila City will be implementing curfew hours of 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.

The EO adjusts from the original hours of 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.

The EO states “The curfew hours for all persons in the City of Manila shall be from ten o’clock in the evening (10 p.m.) to five o’clock in the morning (5 a.m.) during the duration of the community quarantine imposed by the national government,”

Isko added “Starting September 1, iaakyat po natin ang curfew mula 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Logic behind it ay para mas madagdagan ang oras ng paghahanapbuhay, pagtra-trabaho at pagnenegosyo (Starting September 1, the curfew hours will be at 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Logic behind it is to increase the time for livelihoods, works, and businesses),”
