Manila Water and Maynilad Instructed to Allow Customers to Settle Bills Until End-September

The Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewage System (MWSS) announced that water providers in Metro Manila have been directed to allow customers an extended grace period to settle bills as a way to provide economic relief during the pandemic.

Customers now have until the end of September 2020 to pay their balance covered by the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) and modified ECQ.

The MWSS said “The directive was initiated on the basis of humanitarian and public health considerations, and with the intention of providing further economic relief to customers,”
