Motovlogger Yanna Aguinaldo Accepts LTO Penalties After Viral Road Rage in Zambales

ZAMBALES, PHILIPPINES – Motorcycle vlogger Yanna Aguinaldo, known as “Yanna Motovlog” online, has accepted the sanctions imposed by the Land Transportation Office (LTO) after a video of her involvement in a road rage incident in Masinloc, Zambales went viral.

Despite claiming a lack of solid evidence proving her fault, Aguinaldo said in an email to GMA News Online that she would not challenge the decision, stating she values “moving forward with integrity.”

The LTO fined Aguinaldo ₱5,000 for riding a motorcycle without side mirrors and ₱2,000 for reckless driving. Her license has been suspended for 90 days and flagged under an LTO alert. The violations were visible in the video she posted herself, which showed her executing risky overtakes and operating a trail bike without mirrors.

Although she was cleared in a third case due to not being the registered owner of the motorcycle, Aguinaldo was still summoned to explain why her license shouldn’t be suspended or revoked. She did not attend the hearing.

In a statement, she acknowledged the LTO’s actions but urged the agency to address more systemic road safety issues—such as overloaded trucks, illegally parked vehicles, and lack of proper pedestrian infrastructure.

The incident that sparked the case involved a heated exchange with a pickup truck driver during a ride in Zambales. Aguinaldo has since apologized publicly and attempted a face-to-face apology.

The LTO also suspended the motorcycle’s license plate and instructed authorities to confiscate it. She may be apprehended if caught driving while her license is suspended.

While Aguinaldo’s Facebook page has been deactivated, her YouTube channel remains active.
