NLEX Corp. Begins Construction of NLEX-C5 Northlink to Ease Metro Traffic

Metro Pacific Tollways Corp. (MPTC)-led NLEX Corp. has officially broken ground for the NLEX-C5 Northlink project, a major expressway expansion aimed at reducing traffic congestion in Metro Manila.

Key Details of the Project

🚧 Segment 8.2 Section 1A

• 2-kilometer elevated expressway extending from NLEX Mindanao Toll Plaza to Quirino Highway, Novaliches.
• P2.2 billion investment, expected completion within 12 months.
• Constructed by China Road and Bridge Corp. (CRBC).

🛣 Full NLEX-C5 Northlink Project

• 11.3-kilometer expressway connecting Mindanao Avenue to C5/C.P. Garcia near Katipunan Avenue.
• Designed to cut travel time and ease congestion on EDSA, Commonwealth Avenue, Quirino Highway, and Mindanao Avenue.
