Over 39,000 Vehicles Hit Philippine Roads in February, Car Sales Up by 4.1%

The Philippine automotive market saw an increase in vehicle sales in February, with 39,164 units sold, marking a 4.1% rise from January’s 37,604 units, according to data from the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines Inc. (CAMPI) and the Truck Manufacturers Association (TMA).

Breakdown of Sales:

🚗 Commercial Vehicles: 31,010 units (79.16% of total sales)
🚙 Passenger Cars: 8,154 units (20.82%)
📌 Light Commercial Vehicles: 23,404 units
📌 Asian Utility Vehicles (AUVs): 6,681 units
📌 Trucks & Buses: 925 units (various categories)

Top-Selling Car Brands:

🏆 Toyota47.67% market share
🥈 Mitsubishi20.25%
🥉 Nissan5.79%
4️⃣ Suzuki4.63%
5️⃣ Ford4.34%

Year-to-date sales reached 76,768 units, a 6.4% increase compared to 2023. Industry leaders expect to sell 500,000 units in 2025, driven by new models and increasing demand for electric and autonomous vehicles.
